Add Marshalls Garden Barberry (Berberis) 'Orange Rocket' to borders or containers for striking, colour-changing foliage and spring flowers. Leaves emerge orange-coral in spring, deepen to wine-red through summer and turn dark red in autumn, while small yellow blooms appear in April and May. Upright, low‑maintenance shrub grows to around 1200 mm, thrives in sun, part shade or shade, prefers moist to damp soils and will also do well in rich, moist-to-wet container compost; fully hardy in the UK (H5). Supplied in a 9cm pot and delivered to your door. Plant at the same depth as in the pot, water well on planting and keep watered and fed while establishing; trim in summer if required. Attracts pollinators.
