With unmatched versatility, this water fountain can be powered by both battery and solar power. When placed in the ON position and ample sunlight is detected, the solar panel supplies power to the internal water pump and charges the battery. When reduced sunlight is available the solar panel and the battery work together to supply power to the pump. When no sunlight is detected, the battery powers the pump until the charge runs out. When the solar panel is placed in the OFF position and sunlight is available, the water pump will cease to work but the battery will continue to be charged. The solar panel can be mounted to the wall with the wall/deck bracket, or placed into the floor with the spike. This water feature is rated IP44 making it suitable for outdoor use.
